Barry Goldsmith

Coach Barry Goldsmith has been the KCC men's and women's tennis head coach since 1983.  During his 32 years as head tennis coach, he led two teams to national championships (men's team 1998, women's team 1999).  In 1997 coach Goldsmith's men's team was a finalist in the NJCAA championship tournament and in 2010, his women's team accomplished the same feat.  His men's teams finished 12th and 19th in the 1996 & 1995 NJCAA finals respectively.  Coach Goldsmith also has five NJCAA Region XV Championships to his credit along with finishing in second place four times in the tournament. Coach Goldsmith was named Region XV coach of the year 4 times in his tenure at KCC.  Coach Goldsmith has also coached 49 NJCAA All-American KCC tennis players.  For his extrodinary efforts at KCC, Coach Barry Goldsmith has been inducted into the NJCAA Hall of Fame in 2015. 
 
Outside of KCC, Barry coached the Midwood HS Tennis team to a record of 110-10 in 9 years, has been a USTPA Master Professional since 1996, has worked at the US Open Tennis tournament each year since 1996, and has been a tennis teaching professional in the Sheepshead Bay / Manhattan Beach area for over 20 years.
