Kingsborough Wave Women's Basketball team defeated the Broncos of Bronx Community College 64-55 in an exciting overtime finish. With this win, the Wave now moves to 4^th place in the CUNYAC standings.

Ashley Ball played the entire game Friday night for the Wave. The Freshman guard scored 22 points grabbed 12 rebounds and 2 assists in the contest. Freshman guard Shae-quanna Brathwaite also contributed with a strong performance, recording 13 points and 6 rebounds in the Win.

Throughout the entire game, the two teams played equally and fought for every ball possession. At the end first half, the score was 23-17 in favor of Kingsborough.

The Lady Broncos came back in the second half fighting for every ball to put the odds in their favor. They came close on three different occasions to take the lead. With an improved shooting in the second half, the lady Broncos tied the game at 45 all with 4:35 left on the clock. The Wave would take back the lead moments after, but yet again failed to keep the advantage. With 16.1 seconds remaining, the two teams were tied at 52 all. Shae-quana Brathwaite missed the last jumper in regulation, and the two teams would head to overtime.

In overtime, the Wave went on a 12-0 run over the Broncos, which would seal the game.
