Brooklyn, NY - KCC Women's Tennis Team starts the season off with a spot to Regionals! Head Coach Max described his excitement, "Great job today ladies, [I am] very proud, you all played very smart."
 
The Lady Wave won their first matches of the season in sweeps across the board, in singles and doubles match ups. Our Volleyball starter Jelvon Holt, first year player won her singles match in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 against Nassau CC. Holt later teamed up with Sarah Spin for doubles and conquered the matchup in straights sets as well 6-1 and 6-2. 
 
Second year player Aiesha Harris (Sr.) won her first singles match for the season in straight sets as well, 6-1 and 6-3. She teamed up with partner Tamila Latif-Zade for doubles, 6-0 and 6-0 sweep. Tamila also received her first of the season singles straight sets 6-0, 6-0.

Next the Lady Wave will hit the road on September 30th for a regional match up against the Sharks of Suffolk C.C, first serve is at 3pm.
