Garden City, L.I - After starting the season with win over BMCC and Dutchess CC, the lady wave were handed their first loss of their young season by the Lady Lions of Nassau 73 - 42 on Tuesday.

Plagued with turnovers (40) and a off shooting by lead scorer Tiffany Bogle (3-15 FG) and season high 12 Turnovers. The lady wave loss, the frist of the season comes during a week where  they will play Regional Contenders Nassau CC, followed by up  a road date with the defending National Champions Hostos CC.

Last night sort of brought was back to reality, It showed us as soon as we lose focus and not do the simple things that we been doing we will lose games, We can not  win by turning the ball over 30+ times we have to also play for each other and not ourselves - Coach Bain

The lady wave will have a tall order on Thursday night as they play the Defending National Champions on the road a team they havent beaten in 3 seasons, tip time is 6pm at Hostos.
