Brooklyn, NY - The Lady Wave opened their 2019 - 2020 season with a dominant 61- 45 win over their CUNYAC rival BMCC Lady Panthers. The Lady wave was led by freshman Tiffany Bogle who exploded for  34pts, 10rebs on 13-16 shooting from the field. Freshman Sara Henriquez chipped in with 10pts 6rebs 4 assist.

With only two returners from last year lady wave squad that finished with a 3-17 record, this years' lady wave team seem poised to eclipse that record and get into the NJCAA Regional XV Tournament.

We are young and we are going to have some growing pains but I am happy with the way we played tonight, the fans were great, the energy in the gym tonight was awesome, hopefully we can continue build and improve throughout the season. - Coach Brendon Bain.

The Lady Wave are on the road with games against Dutchess CC (Nov.9), Nassau C.C (Nov. 12). Hostos (Nov.14) before returning home on Nov.19th to play the Lady Sharks of Suffolk.
