Brooklyn, NY - The Men's Basketball team was not able to hold up their end of the double header home opener against the Panther of BMCC. After watching the Lady wave win convincingly against the lady panthers, the men took the court but were unable to complete the sweep as they fell to the Panther by a score of 90-63. The Wave was led by their freshman backcourt of John McGouran and Joseph Cohen, 13pts 8rebs 5 assist, 12pts, 2rebs 5 assist respectively.

The wave opened the season at the Westchester Tip-off on Nov. 1-2 against Westchester CC and Passaic CC. It was a good measuring stick for the young wave team despite going 0-2 at the tournament there were some bright spots as the young back court showed glimpses of greatness during certain stretches of both games but ultimately was not able to over come the faster Westchester CC on Friday Nov.1st and Passaic CC Nov. 2nd.

The next three game will show what we are made of, we definitely need to be tougher and locked in mentally for the entire 40mins, If we can do that we will be alright . - Coach Shell.

The wave hit the road for the next three game Dutchess CC (Nov.9th), Nassau (Nov. 12th) and Hostos CC (Nov. 14th) before returning home to play Sufffolk CC on Nov.19th.
