Mike Taverna, Assistant Coach, Recruiting Coordinator

Returning to KCC in the 2027 season marks Coach Taverna's 7th year coaching college baseball, including being part of the back-to-back regional champion staff (2023-2024). Mike also works closely with the Italian American Baseball Foundation (IABF) and the Italian National Team as a collegiate ambassador helping bridge European baseball to the American college scene. 

You may recognize Coach Taverna from the silver screen or the squared circle. He has been featured in AEW, VH1, CBS, and many other outlets for his work in wrestling, TV, movies, and commercials. 

Coach Taverna uses his excellent communication skills to help young athletes navigate the recruiting process, turning what can be a stressful process into an exciting one.
