Men's Soccer : Wave Dominates Knights 5-2, Finishing Season with a 3 Game Winning Streak

Thursday October 17, Kingsborough's Men's Soccer defeated Globe Institute of Technology 5-2 in an away game played on the Kingsborough Field.

The game started well for the Wave team, with Kingsborough keeping the ball for the first minutes of the game in the first quarter. The First goal of the game would come from Kingsborough's Denton Smith curling a nice freekick from 20 yards out. Down 1, and playing with fewer players, Globe would react and scored two goals to give them the lead right before the halftime whistle.

In the early minutes of the second half, KCC pressured Globe to tie the game. Their effort would pay off when midfielder Andre Beckford powers a shot from inside the box to score his 6th goal of the season.  Merise Djusalem would give the Wave the lead scoring the team's third and fourth goal before Tyler Gabov's late goal secured the victory for the Wave.

Win this win Kingsborough Finishes the season with a three game winning streak, defeating Orange County CC (2-1) and Hostos CC (3-1).
