Garden City, NY;-- The Kingsborough Men's Soccer team started off their week on Tuesday, September 15, with a hard loss to the undefeated and #5 nationally ranked Nassau Community College Lions 6-1. The Wave got off to a slow start, not scoring until the second half. Stanley Milhomme scored the only goal of the game.
 
Brooklyn, NY;--The Wave were able to jump back to the win column with a resounding 10-2 win over the visiting Queensborough Community College Tigers. With motivation from their loss two days prior, the team jumped out aggressively, scoring 6 goals in the first half. Freshman Chaz Bond was able to put away his first goal and first hat trick of the season all before the buzzer for halftime went off. Sophomore Omario Walters was undoubtedly the player of the game, scoring a hat trick and putting away four assists, with two of them for Chaz Bond. The Wave continued to pressure the ball, scoring 4 more goals in the second half. With the win, the Wave captured the regular season New York City Community College Championship. They will host the conference championship game on Sunday, October 18th. Their opponent is yet to be determined.

With their first loss of the season and a terrific comeback game, the Kingsborough Men's Soccer team has all the motivation they need heading into this next week of gameplay. The Wave will take on the Dutchess Community College Falcons at Kingsborough's home turf on Tuesday, September 22nd, at 4pm.
