Men's Basketball : Kingsborough CC Wave Tops BMCC Panthers

New York, N.Y. - The BMCC Panthers fell 73-66 to CUNYAC rival Kingsborough Community College on Thursday night at the BMCC Gymnasium.

The Panthers (4-7) has three players score in double figures, led by freshman Joseph Ojo's team-high 16 points. Sophomore Brandon Herriot chipped in with 15 points and five rebounds and Tim Pandolfi had 12 points. Sophomore Akeem Williams grabbed a game-high 17 rebounds and had five blocks.

The Wave (3-7) had two players get to double figures, led by Eddie Kinloch's game-high 20 points. Cashawn McFadden chipped in with 17 points.

The Wave led the game 27-25 at halftime and the 2nd half remained close throughout the period. The Panthers best shot to take a lead came with just over six minutes left in the half. Herriot made a 3-pointer to cut the lead to 59-57 and after a McFadden turnover, Ojo made a layup to even the score at 59 with 6:16 to go. However that would be the last time the Panthers would be that close.
