KCC Ends Season With Tough Loss to Suffolk

5/2/2013 11:25:00 AM

The Wave's baseball season came to an end on Wednesday finishing their schedule off at the Selden campus of Suffolk Community College. The Sharks got out to an early 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first and never looked back. The Wave hitters were only able to muster up 3 hits in the 6 innings of play. Charles Cabranes, Joseph Capparelli, and Jordan White each added singles to their season stats in their final few at bats of their freshman campaigns. The Sharks would take the game 10-0 on a beautiful first day of May. An unfortunate end to a season that began with such promise. The Kingsborough family would like to send out their best wishes to the three sophomores (John Boenzi, Jimmy Daley, and Christopher Armenti) who's Kingsborough baseball careers came to an end on Wednesday. Check back for a season recap story as well as a look into next year.
