Kingsborough CC VB vs Rockland

The Wave from Kingsborough defeated the Hawks from Rockland CC 2-0 in the very physical game.

Kingsbroough opened the score in the first quarter of the game when Andre Beckford strongly finished a nice play set up moments earlier by Valentyn Kharko.

Kharko would then double the score from a nice freekick taken from 30 yards out which was out of reach for the Rockland goal keeper.

With this win Kingsborough increases their chance to qualify the Region XV Playoffs. The next Wave game will be on 10/1/13 against Suffolk CC who is currently ranked #1 in the Region XV Standings
