KCC evened the season series 1-1 against Queensborough on Wednesday with a decisive win. The game went just 5 innings ending as a result of the mercy rule 12-2.

Sophomore pitcher
Joseph Liotta pitched just 1 and 1/3 innings in this game before having to leave the game due to a back injury. Fellow Sophomore hurler
Michael Alloggio came in for Liotta inheriting a few runners. Alloggio did a tremendous job getting his team out of the inning and shutting The Tigers down the rest of the game, allowing The Wave to come alive offensively.
Â
KCC did almost all of their damage in the 3rd and 4th innings, scoring 4 runs and then 7 runs in those innings respectively.
Louis Liberta just continues to do what he does, adding another hit along with 2 RBI's and 2 runs scored. Sophomores
Justin Baierlein and
Joseph Capparelli both had 2 runs scored. 1st baseman
Nicholas Manzione had 3 hits with an RBI in the game.

This was a great start to the boys toughest week of the season. If they can maintain the confidence they have been playing with they will be a tough group to stop. The grind continues with a stop at Nassau on Friday afternoon which will set the stage for a very exciting weekend.
