Box Score Brooklyn, NY - The KCC wave Men's baseball earned their 2nd win of the season against Monroe Bronx yesterday in a 12-2 victory.

Tom Scarpaci (P) - the Sophomore had a sensational outing coming out of the bullpen. he entered the game to begin the 2nd inning after an injury to the starting pitcher. he picked up the win going 6 innings allowing 1 run but 0 earned. Scarpaci stuck out 9 of Monroe Bronx's batters and gave up just 2 hits.

John Brunetti (CF) the Sophomore hit a solo homerun in the 3rd inning to help give the wave's offense the spark it needed. 

Deury Ortega (DH) the Freshman continues to be a difference maker by going 3 for 5 with 2 triples, 3 RBIs' and 2 runs scored. Deury also earned CUNY Pitcher of the week. In his only start last week, Ortega fired a complete-game three-hit shutout in an 8-0 win at BMCC. He did not allow a walk and fanned seven in the effort.

Richard Devita (C) the Sophomore continue to get on base and be the leader we need. he reached base twice on walks and a sac fly in the inning to answer back a run from the top of the inning. he finished the day with 2 RBIs', 3 Runs scored, and a stolen base.

John Vento (SS) teh freshman went 1 for 4 with 2 RBI's, 1 run scored and 1 stolen base.

The wave will be back in this Friday, Mach 30th 2018  against Monroe Bronx @ KCC Athletic field at 4PM.
