Brooklyn, NY - The Kingsborough Lady Wave returned home Tuesday evening for the first time in 15-days to host the BMCC Lady Panthers. up with a Panther not long before a
Zakieya Williams steal to get it back. The ball movement and all-around teamwork was strong in the 2nd quarter demonstrated by Tamia Flores as
she dives for a loose ball and gets it to
Arta Gjeloshi who then put it on a beautiful dime to Williams for another two points. Going into half the Wave lead, 56-18.
In the 3rd quarter the Wave showcased their defensive excellence as they put on a clinic forcing constant turnovers oJ steals and, blocks which led to assists on fast breaks throughout the whole quarter. Wilson and Williams continued their fantastic games as Wilson was a bully in the post and Williams was a facilitator recording assists to
Tionna Davis and
Kiana Rojas. The Wave would go on to outscore the Panthers 33-9 in the quarter.
The 4th was more of the same,
Tionna Davis had a nice quarter as she had a steal which led to 2, she also had the crowd going crazy after she made a nasty move to get by two
