Brooklyn, NY - The #8 ranked Kingsborough Lady Wave looked to continue making history as they would host the Bronx Lady Broncos.
In the first quarter,
Kayla Wilson opened the scoring inside before
Endya Greene caught fire from beyond the arc draining back-to-back threes.
Jayden Vega added another triple, while
Arta Gjeloshi provided a strong presence inside the paint, scoring inside and drawing a foul to cap off an explosive first quarter, jumping out to a commanding 31-7 lead.
In the second, Greene showcased her playmaking skills, threading a perfect pass to Wilson who put it in for 2.
Fatima Bibi knocked down a three, followed by
Tionna Davis adding another from deep. Greene continued to facilitate, setting up Bibi for another basket before Bibi drilled another three as the Lady Wave would go on a 34-3 run in the second to take a 65-10 lead into half.
The second half was more of the same, with
Jayden Vega connecting from deep again.
Tionna Davis added a smooth mid-range jumper, and
Chamiya Foy got in on the action as she would score points in the paint to seal another dominant win by the Lady Wave as they would take it by a final of, 32-112.
With a all-around dominant performance on all fronts, the #8 ranked Lady Wave prove yet again why they are one of the top teams in the country.
