Brooklyn, NY - The #8 ranked Kingsborough Lady Wave played host to the Dutchess Lady Falcons as they seek their 20?? win in a row.
Tionna Davis opened the scoring, setting the tone early, followed by
Jayden Vega drilling what has seemingly become her signature three pointer.
Endya Greene quickly made her presence felt, scoring inside, drawing the foul, and converting the and-one opportunity. The Lady Wave's defensive intensity was on full display, forcing multiple steals including one by
Kayla Wilson, who took it coast-to-coast for the score. Greene showed off her vision with back-to-back flash assists- one to Davis and the other to
Kayla Wilson who knocked down a smooth jumper.
Cierra Grant capitalized on another steal on an inbound pass, scoring effortlessly, while
Arta Gjeloshi added a strong finish in the paint. The Lady Wave would score 25-straight points to begin the game.
In the second quarter,
Taima Flores went on an offensive explosion, knocking down back-to-back threes and would score 8-straight points for the Lady Wave capped off by a steal and score.
Endya Greene continued to dominate, converting on an and-one opportunity before drilling a three.
Fatima Bibi added a three right before the half to take yet another commanding lead into half as the Lady Wave led, 74-19.
The third quarter was much of the same, with
Kayla Wilson,
Tionna Davis, and
Endya Greene getting it done inside with ease. Greene continued her stellar night with another three, while
Kiana Rojas added her name to the score sheet with a score inside. In the 4??, Wilson added the official dagger with under two minutes let as the Lady Wave would win in dominant fashion yet again as they would win by a final score of, 116-36.
The Lady Wave do it again as they defeat the Lady Falcons on a phenomenal team effort as well as a historic line from
Endya Greene. Greene scored a new school record for most points in a game with 50 points as well as adding 10 rebounds, 9 steals, and 8 assists.
