Kingsborough hosted the Vaughn Phoenix on Saturday, and cruised to a 6-0 win. The Wave jumped out early, scoring in the 3rd minute by freshman Juan David Diaz. The wave continued to pressure the Phoenix, scoring in the 18th, 27th, and 30th minute of the first half.
 
Kingsborough kept the energy up after the half, with two goals by Denys Zorian Feshchyn, earning him his first collegiate hat trick. Goalkeeper Mario Brown continued his defense streak, stopping all 5 shots on goal by the Phoenix.  
 
After the 2025 season, the Wave are enroute to having a successful team in 2026, with coach Devorn Charles leading the charge. The Wave will travel to Northern Essex to play the #5 nationally ranked Knights on Tuesday, September 1st and Roxbury CC on September 3rd.
