Brooklyn, NY - In an exciting game at home the Lady wave soccer team recorded their first win of the season in a 2 - 1 victory over BMCC. The lady wave dominated the game by keeping possesion, playing as a team and being the aggressor throughout the game.
KCC striked first in the 29th minute when
 #4 Lissette Tlatelpa converted on a break away with a perfectly placed shot pass BMCC's goal keeper. Energized from the first goal, the Lady wave continued applying pressure which created many chances to extend their lead before the end of the first half.

As the second half started it was clear the lady wave game plan was to continue with the pressure which eventually lead to the second goal for the Lady wave scored by
# 13 Lucinda Abott in the 69th minute. BMCC scored a late goal to cut the defict to one but it wasnt enough as time expired giving KCC lady wave a 2 - 1 victory.
Assistant coach Devron Charles and Head coach Victor Popsvsky couldn't of been happier for their team as  a hard week of practice paid off with a victory that may lead to the lady wave qualifying for the Regional Tournament.
Next Game for the Lady wave would be at home on 10/10/15 @Â 1pm.
