Nassau, L.I - KCC Lady wave volleyball team lost their season opener tonight on the road against Nassau CC in straight set 3 - 0. 
The Lady wave coming off a successful preseason had hope to continue their impressive play against one of Region XV better teams. 

Coach Paul Watson said that his team played a very spirited match, even though they lost in straight sets each of those matches were close. In the end they did not get the result they had hope for but coach Watson said he still considered this a good first match of the season, and hope to build as the season continues on.

Next match for the Lady wave would be @ Suffolk CC on Thursday 17th with a tip time schdeduled for 7PM. The Lady Wave would have a Double Header home opener on Saturday, September 19th at 12pm against Hostos CC Followed by a 1:15pm game against Queensborough CC.
