Brooklyn, NY - KCC Wave Men's Volleyball team recently completed its Inaugural season in the NJCAA Region XV Men's Volleyball Conference. The season began on February 21^st, 2024, with the regular seasoning ending on March 24^th, 2024. The NJCAA Region XV tournament commenced on April 2^nd, 2024 and was hosted at Monroe College New Rochelle Campus.

The wave was coached by long time women's volleyball coach Paul Watson who shared some thoughts on his first season – "Our final roster was a mix of volleyball players, soccer players and recreational basketball players. At first, it seemed to be an impossible task to play and compete with already established squads from last year, as well as other newly formed teams and be competitive but our guys overcame a lot of growing pains, and we came together as a team at the perfect time".

The wave defeated Monroe College – Bronx in straight sets (3-0) in the play-in/playoff game to earn the seed #4 at the NJCAA Region XV tournament. They advanced to face #1 Monroe College, losing in straight sets (0-3) in the Semifinals. – "Reaching the semifinals was an incredible achievement and I couldn`t be prouder of them" – Coach Paul.
