The Wave opened the season in dominant fashion with a 4-0 win over LaGuardia.
Klesti Murataj and
Omario Walters orchestrated the offense, each contributing a goal and an assist.
Jaquelle Pottinger added a goal in the second half to seal the win. Kingsborough controlled possession throughout the game and showcased sharp passing and finishing, setting the tone for a promising season ahead with a 4-0 win.
September 2nd At Bunker Hill Bulldogs (1-0)
Kingsborough traveled to Boston to take on the Bulldogs in what would be the first of a two game road trip. The Wave started off strong as
Klesti Murataj found the back of the net in the 18th minute off an assist from
Omario Walters, giving the Wave an early lead. Unfortunately for the Kingsborough that would be their first and last score of the game and Bunker Hill would go
on to score 3-unansweed goals enroute to a 3-1 victory over the Wave.
September 3rd At Roxbury Tigers (1-0)
Kingsborough's offense came out firing on all cylinders, with multiple players contributing to the scoreline, showcasing consistent attacks and sharp finishing. The team-controlled possession for most of the match and applied constant pressure, while the defense limited Roxbury to just a single goal. This performance demonstrated the Wave's depth, teamwork, and ability to respond
after a tough loss earlier in the week. The Wave bounced back in dominant fashion on the road against Roxbury, securing a 6-1 victory.
