Brooklyn, NY - Kingsborough Community College women's soccer head coach Victor Popovky was selected to represent the 2015 Pan American Maccabi Games, to be played from  Dec,26th 2015 - Jan 4th 2016 in Santiago ,Chile. Coach Victor would be playing in the masters soccer over 45 at the games.

Coach Victor Popovsky previoulsy represented the Maccabi USA soccer masters team and played in the age group 35 and over at the Maccabi games held in Israel, and was the top scorer for team USA, scoring 5 goals.

''I am very delighted and humbled to be part of this great event, and I hope to bring the gold medal home" Said Coach Victor Popovsky. In additon, coach Popovsky is an adjunct Professor at Kingsborough where he teaches soccer.

Coach Victor aslo helps students teachers within the Physical Education Health and Recreation department to achieve their dream of becoming physical education teachers. "I am hoping that my experience both as a coach and an educator and player will attract many young talented athletes to our well rounded athletic program, that has many great coaches and a lot to offer." said Coach Victor Popovsky.

KCC Athletics department would like to say congratulations to coach Victor on his selection to the Pan American Maccabi Soccer team.
