The Kingsborough Lady Wave recorded their first victory of the 2025 season, defeating the Bronx Lady Broncos in straight sets. The team combined strong offensive execution with 
disciplined defense to control the flow of the match.

Solandra Arizaga played a key role on both ends of the court, contributing 9 kills on 21 attempts while also anchoring the back row with 20 digs. Her performance allowed the Lady Wave to convert 
defensive stops into scoring opportunities and keep consistent pressure on the Broncos.

Offensively, Ericka James added 7 kills and 2 assists, while Rayan Jahmi orchestrated the offense with 12 assists, contributing 3 kills and 7 digs. Nancy Pierre provided key momentum with 2 aces 
and 5 digs, helping the team sustain their edge during crucial stretches. In total, Kingsborough finished with 21 kills on 61 attempts and 33 points, reflecting a balanced and
cohesive team effort.

The Lady Wave managed long rallies efficiently and minimized unforced errors, allowing them to maintain control throughout the match. This performance highlights the team's growing
cohesion and ability to execute effectively on both offense and defense.

"We as a team have been working on confidence on the court, and I have to say this game was the first time I saw it in motion," said assistant coach Jamarie Silverio. "Each and every
individual displayed so much confidence on the court that they each shined bright in their own way. I can't wait to see more of that confidence and teamwork in the next coming games."
