Women's Volleyball: Queensborough down Lady Waves in Straight Sets

BROOKLYN, NY - Queensborough Lady Tigers improved to 5 - 0 in the CUNY with a striaght set win over the Kingsborough Lady wave at Kingsbrough on Tuesday night, 25-18, 25-7, 25-21. It was a rematch of an ealy season contest in which the Lady Tigers was also vitorious.

Lady waves was led by Pik Ka Tang with 26 Total attacks, 12 digs and 4 Kills. The lady waves were competitive throughout the game except for the second set where they seem to have lost focus and committed many unforced errors, but bounced back to give the Lady Tigers a competitive 3 set.

Coach Paul Watson of the lady wave said of his team after the loss that the way their played in the last set should give them confidence for their upcoming matches as they continue to improve late into the season.

The Lady wave hope to end their losing streak on Saturday when they play a double header at Dutchess Community College, The Lady wave Plays Ulster CC at 12PM Followed by Dutchess CC at 1:15 PM.
