Brooklyn, NY - The #8 ranked Kingsborough Lady Wave go for their 16th win in a row when they host the Queensborough Lady Tigers.
Kayla Wilson started the game oD strong scoring twice inside off offensive rebounds and converted a three-point play after drawing the foul.
Tionna Davis and
Jayden Vega added ?repower from beyond the arc, with Davis hitting from deep and Vega hitting from the corner. Davis and Wilson were dominant on both sides of the ball as they would lead at the end of 1st quarter, 19-7.
The momentum carried over especially when
Endya Greene entered, Greene would come in and knock down three consecutive 3-pointers.
Kiana Rojas would get into the mix knocking down a midrange jumper. Wilson and Davis continued their offensive prowess as they would consistently attack and get to the rim. Vega closed out the ?rst half with a three as the Wave would go on a 25-4 run throughout the entire second quarter as they would take a, 44-11 lead into half.
The second half opened with more offensive fire power as,
Jayden Vega and
Cierra Grant would knock down a few more shots but
Endya Greene remained unstoppable from beyond
the arc. She would knock down three more 3-pointers in the quarter.
Kayla Wilson closed out another great quarter by taking it coast-to-coast for another score.
The Wave were simply too dominant on both fronts for the Lady Tigers to contain as they were hitting from beyond the arc, at midrange, and scoring in the paint.
Kayla Wilson had a
career day putting up 22 PTS, and 14 REB leading the Lady Wave to a dominant 92-33 win.
The Lady Wave's historic season continues as they improve to 18-1 on the season and extend their win streak to 16-wins in a row.
